Made in China!!!
Firstly I didn’t expect anything from Passenger to be made out n China give their human rights issues and the high carbon print to move the product to me from there.!!!! These shorts were probably made for next to nothing and then given a premium price by you on the basis that there are supposedly very environmentally friendly. You should stay on your website where each item in sourced from. If you do not do that then you are just capitalising/hoodwinking on people who try to buy goods that are as environmentally considerate as possible.
Secondly these are not swim shorts as they have no inner liner, so they are just shorts.
They are good shorts other than that hence 3 stars although I was tempted to give only 2 given the lack of environmental consideration and the high comparative cost.

Hi Steven,
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on the shorts and for raising your concerns.
China is the world's largest producer of fabrics, particularly recycled fabrics, and this is what the majority of our products are constructed from in order to reduce material going into landfills, or end up in our oceans. Often garments state that they are made outside of China (for example in Portugal or Turkey), however the likelihood is that the fabric for these garments have been shipped from China, in order to be constructed in these other countries. This creates a larger CO2 impact in the manufacturing process, so instead we cut this out and produce our products in the country that the fabric is made. It goes without saying that our manufacturing process operates under fair trade regulations, and that our printing and dying process is also chemical-free (to protect both staff and the environment). It's worth noting that we have a fantastic relationship with our staff in China, with very high involvement on a daily basis.
As a forward-thinking company, we are always looking to improve our services and what we're offering, and this is also applied to our manufacturing. Our Founder, Rich, is currently working alongside our Product Design Team to source re-cycled fabric production closer to home, for our future products. We've got some exciting developments going on in terms of sustainable materials and playing our part in closing the loop on a circular economy.
We're not perfect, or quite where we'd like to be, but we're heading in what we believe to be the right direction. Social and environmental impacts are at the core of our ethos, and something we are always happy to talk about, so if you do have any questions or concerns, our door is always open, and we're very transparent about our manufacturing processes. Please do get in touch on info@passenger-clothing.com if you have any further questions or concerns.
Kind regards,
Amber
