Our Ethos

At Passenger we always seek to make thoughtfully designed and responsibly sourced products that are Made To Roam for a life of Meaningful Escapism.

"We create products that enable a life of meaningful escapism. We’re always challenging ourselves to be better, every day, and we have so much more to do, exciting things are on the horizon…"

Richard Sutcliffe, Founder.

Our Materials

We know that everything we do has an impact. That’s why we favour recycled and organic materials, and regularly re-evaluate our approach. We make clothes that’ll join you on your adventures and wild roams, so it’s vital we keep our footprint in mind.

Organic Cotton

Organic Cotton

Organic cotton is grown without synthetic chemicals or pesticides. It’s fully certified and tracked all the way through the supply chain, from farm to factory.

Recycled Cotton

Recycled Cotton

Recycled cotton is made using either production offcuts from garment factories or post-consumer textile waste.

Recycled Polyester

Recycled Polyester

Recycled polyester is made of materials that have been used before. They’re shredded and melted down into pellets and reformed into workable polyester yarns.

Our Suppliers

Passenger is committed to progressing towards a fair, responsible and transparent supply chain. We’ve made it a priority to map our suppliers and share their stories. We’re working hard to be transparent, sharing more info as we make progress. It’s a long journey, but we trust our heading.

Our Packaging

Within the brown paper packaging bag or box (which are both widely recyclable), you’ll notice your order from us arrives in a see-through product bag.

These bags are currently made from plant-based sources such as corn starch or sugar cane and can be industrially composted as polylactic acid.

Most of our customers will be able to simply chuck our product bags in with their food waste or garden waste collection. If you're in any doubt, check your local authority guidance on how to dispose of 'compostable plastics' and follow the guidance on the bag itself.

Our Partners

Trees For The Future

Trees For The Future

Over the past few years, we’ve worked very closely with conservation partners, Trees for the Future (TREES), who have planted over 300 million trees in the ground since 1989. It’s an incredible multi-step programme and one we’re proud to facilitate.

Rainforest Trust

Rainforest Trust

Through partnerships like ours, the Rainforest Trust can work towards the long-term protection of tropical ecosystems and the wildlife they hold. They're working on conservation action across 62 countries.

Impact & Traceability

We’re on a journey to reduce our impact, which means we seek to partner with the right factories to make outdoor gear that lasts. We're providing visibility of our supply chain, mapping the impact of our products and working to improve the experience of the workers who manufacture our products.
