With an upgrade in the fabric department, a new quilted lining and the addition of an internal mesh back panel and vent for breathability, you will want this jacket with you on every adventure. You asked and we listened.

This parka has the perfect amount of loft and warmth for cold winter days. I've worn it daily during a cold spell (-15C) and it's kept me perfectly warm. The coat has a lot of really nice features and the right amount of roominess if you need to layer. It looks great for both professional settings and outdoor activities. Really happy with it and would definitely recommend.

Man, I really wanted to love this jacket. It looks great, fits perfectly, and has the features I wanted. However, I was expecting it to perform better in the cold. I ordered this during the recent cold front in NYC and was hoping for a jacket that would block out all the wind and the 20-degree air.
And to be honest, it does a fine job. I was never freezing wearing it and it allows for room to layer. But I wasn't toasty either. I feel air pass through, especially in the shoulder and arm region of the jacket and that seems to make a difference. Even when I do layer, I still feel a little cool. I wanted to be able to slip the parka on and know I was going to be toasty warm on my morning commute.
Hopefully as the weather creeps into the 30's, it performs a little better. And again, I love everything else about this jacket and love that it's recycled - I think the mission of Passenger is great. But I was hoping it would function like a Patagonia parka and I didn't find that it did.
